The history of Residencial Sabrina in La Zenia

Originally built by Orihuela-based property developer Santamar de la Vega, construction of the Residencial Sabrina community began in earnest in 2013 on an undeveloped plot of urban land measuring 13,953 m².

This was the first and only foray into Orihuela Costa territory for Santamar, and the community was fully completed by 2015, within just two years of inception.

The homes were marketed as exceptional quality, with Aerothermal water heating, armoured security doors as standard, porcelain tiled floors throughout, and delivered to homeowners with fully fitted American-style open-plan kitchens.

The company had previously completed luxury developments in Torre de la Horadada, and it still builds today, with active projects underway locally in San Miguel de Salinas.

Residencial Sabrina offers 2,500 m² of community green areas, three separate parking zones with secure private access roads, and plentiful car parking spaces for residents and their visitors.

The signature concave quadrilateral (or "arrowhead") shaped community pool is totally unique in Orihuela Costa, and surrounded by an extensive sunbathing area and terrace marked by Spanish reed sombrillas, potted Mediterranean flora, and an additional dedicated pool for children.

The gated development consists of 100 individual properties in total. 13 detached villas with private gardens and roof terraces line the southern perimeter of the community, with several garden apartments and penthouse apartments located in two-storey blocks to the east.

The remaining properties reside in 2 attached four-storey and five-storey towers to the northwest of the Residencial Sabrina development, surrounding the community areas.

A residential development with a variety of properties

Apartments in the two main blocks vary in size from 51 m² to 77 m² with a 2-bedroom floor plan. Larger apartments feature 2-bathrooms with one master en suite, with smaller apartments offering one family bathroom. All mid-floor properties benefit from a terrace between 10 m² and 14 m².

Penthouse apartments offer 60 m² of living space with private roof terraces overlooking the community below. Ground-floor apartments have partially covered private terraces or generous balconies.

Selected apartments have individual storage rooms in the community areas, and all homes on upper floors in the main blocks have lift access.

Detached villas are 2-bedrooms, with 7 of the 13 properties located inside the gated area. Properties located outside the gated area benefit from larger plots with selected homes offering private off-road parking. Plentiful on-street parking is available free of charge.
