A new home and a new life in San Miguel de Salinas
MOVING TO A NEW HOME can be a challenging experience for anyone, but just imagine relocating to a new house in a country more than 7.000 km away - that you've never even visited before. That's exactly what our latest home buyers have just done.
Andrei and Julia come from Canada, a country renowned for the jaw-dropping northern peaks of the Rocky Mountains and the stunning Atlantic coastline of Nova Scotia. But as undeniably beautiful as the country might be, it simply isn't famous for its great weather.
Over the years, the couple grew weary of the cold and the persistent rain, and their thoughts inevitably turned to warmer climes, and the possibility of turning their dream of a home in the sunshine into a reality.
Of course, it takes a leap of faith and a lot of research before considering such a monumental move when the world is your oyster, and that's how Andrei first found us, having stumbled across our YouTube channel.
Marcel utilised his extensive knowledge of the local area to help Andrei and Julia pinpoint their ideal location and their perfect new home. They found a beautiful new build villa in San Miguel de Salinas, one of the most picturesque traditional Spanish villages in the South Costa Blanca.
Spain's extensive summers combined with mild and thankfully short winters provide all the great weather Andrei and Julia were looking for. Together with their children, the family are looking forward to a new life, living and working in a part of the world where the sun always shines.
