Channel 4 TV show A Place in the Sun visits Torre la Mata and Torrevieja

FANS OF THE ICONIC British TV Show "A Place in the Sun" will be all too familiar with the inevitable disappointment reached during the closing moments of the show, as the presenters lament that their latest prospective buyers failed to find the dream home they were looking for.

For us as viewers, we´ve invested an hour of our precious time, we´ve built up our hopes and reinforced our own personal aspirations. We genuinely want these eager house-hunters to fall in love with a home before the end of the programme.

But the fact is, actually completing an overseas property purchase on the UK TV show is an unlikely outcome, and more often than not, viewers are left disappointed by the time the end credits roll.

However, we can exclusively reveal that this is not the case during one episode scheduled for broadcast this week. That´s right, Inmo Investments sold a property on A Place in the Sun, and you can witness the spectacle and euphoria of completing a sale with the TV programme tomorrow.

Selling properties in Spain with A Place in the Sun

In the latest episode, Lee Juggurnauth uses all of his property expertise to find Robert and Thomas their perfect holiday home in and around La Mata, a resort neighbourhood of Torrevieja right here in southeast Spain.

Despite a limited budget, the producers of the show found a selection of properties that met the buyer's criteria for location and price, and Robert and Thomas fell in love with a pretty bungalow located in Residencial Doña Ines on the outskirts of the Mediterranean port city.

Toward the end of the episode, Lee can be seen speaking with the estate agent on the phone, negotiating the buyers offer and hoping to secure the property on behalf of Robert and Thomas. What viewers don´t see, is that off-camera, the agent Lee was speaking with was Alexander Pichlmayr, our Managing Director.

Naturally, he negotiated a favourable deal that resulted in on-screen success for Robert and Thomas (and for our property owner too), and the photo at the top of this article shows the moment, just a few weeks later, when Alexander met Robert and Thomas to hand over the keys to their new home.
