The Zenia Golf communities are a collection of four neighbouring low-rise residential developments in the heart of Orihuela Costa. Known locally as "Residencial Zenia Golf" or "Urb La Zenia Golf", the private housing complexes are designated as Zenia Golf I, Zenia Golf II, Zenia Golf III, and Zenia Golf IV.
Although they share the familiar "Zenia Golf" name, they are actually separate developments with their own communal facilities, layouts and owners' associations. Together they form one of the most established residential areas between La Zenia beach, Cabo Roig, and Zenia Boulevard.
The Zenia Golf residential communities were built by Escudero Promotores Inmobiliarios in San Pedro del Pinatar. The established local company has a rich history of building high-quality homes in the Alicante Province and the Region of Murcia dating back more than 35 years.
The phased construction took place over six years from 1998 to 2004, and today, more than two decades later, properties set within these established residential developments are prized for their mature surroundings, generous outdoor spaces and first-class location close to the coast.
Where is the Zenia Golf I complex in La Zenia?
The original Zenia Golf development, Zenia Golf 1 is located in the heart of La Zenia, immediately adjacent to the Consum supermarket and just 950 metres from Cala Bosque - La Zenia's largest Blue Flag accredited beach.
The development comprises semi-detached villas, townhouses, and detached villas with a total of 77 two-storey homes. Properties are arranged in a triangle around a lawned community garden offering a tranquil Mediterranean space with a large freeform swimming pool as a centrepiece.
The community is gated and secure, and selected properties located on Calle Ramón y Cajal offer private off-road parking. However, most homes in Zenia Golf I do not have allocated parking spaces.
Properties follow a two-storey 2-bed 2-bath floorplan, typically around 86 m² built, with a master en suite bedroom and a sun terrace on the first floor. All homes benefit from a kitchen with a utility room, and a private patio garden.
Residential Zenia Golf II in Orihuela Costa
Constructed between 1998 and 2000, the Urb Zenia Golf 2 community consists exclusively of 76 two-storey townhouses. Just like Zenia Golf I, properties inside the complex are located around a central lawned communal garden adorned with ornate Mediterranean flora and a large swimming pool.
However, unlike the original development, Zenia Golf II has a private road inside the community providing secure off-road parking for selected properties. The development is gated with access exclusively for residents.
Located just across the road from Zenia Golf I, the complex enjoys the same privileged location, with immediate access to the Consum Supermarket and popular social venues such as Paddy's Point. La Zenia's closest beach is just a short 15-minute walk away, with three other beaches within easy walking distance.
Properties typically offer either a 2-bed 2-bath layout around 75 m², or 3-bed 2-bath floorplans with 100 m² of living space. Each home has a separate kitchen, a balcony terrace on the first floor, and a private garden.
The Zenia Golf III community in La Zenia
Compared with the previous iterations, the Zenia Golf 3 community in La Zenia is diminutive - with just 24 properties in total. The complex offers a mix of two-storey townhouses, three-storey townhouses, and select 2-storey semi-detached villas.
Homes feature a 2-bed (or 3-bed) 2-bath layout around 80 m², an independent kitchen, and a master bedroom on the first floor with en suite shower facilities and access to the balcony terrace. Private outside spaces overlook the central community gardens.
Located on the northern edge of La Regia, the development is gated and secure, benefitting from landscaped communal gardens with a large swimming pool and sunbathing areas. Parking is on-street only throughout the complex.
As with the other phases, the emphasis is on low-rise living and outdoor enjoyment rather than high-density apartment blocks, and the smaller size of the community lends itself to a quieter residential environment.
Urb Zenia Golf IV in Cabo Roig
The Zenia Golf IV development enjoys a particularly strong reputation among holiday-home buyers due to its proximity to the famous Cabo Roig Strip, beaches and leisure marina area.
The development lies just 250 metres from popular shops, bars, and restaurants; and 750 metres (a 10-minute walk) from Playa Cala la Caleta in Cabo Roig. Widely recognised as one of the finest beaches in Orihuela Costa, La Caleta offers seasonal water sports and a beach bar that opens year-round.
The large 15,500 m² community benefits from two swimming pools, meticulously landscaped and lawned gardens, abundant palm trees and Mediterranean flora, and picnic and sunbathing areas within the development.
The secure and gated complex comprises 2-bed 2-bath or 3-bed 2-bath townhouses from 80 to 100 m² across either two or three storeys. All properties benefit from separate kitchens, en suite master bedrooms, sun terraces, and private gardens.
