Zeniamar, also commonly referred to as Zenia Mar, is one of the best-known residential urbanisations in Orihuela Costa.
Located in Playa Flamenca, just off the N-332 coastal road, it has earned a strong reputation among both international holiday home buyers and year-round residents seeking an established, mature location.
The entire development is built around the Zeniamar Commercial Centre, a small and unusually semi-circular shopping centre that overlooks a lawned green space.

The history of Zeniamar in Playa Flamenca
Zeniamar is not a single residential community, but a series of 10 stand-alone gated complexes constructed over almost a decade. Each complex or "phase" is an individual community in its own right, with properties arranged around a central community garden and pool area.
Properties are low-rise in nature, with the community offering a mix of garden and penthouse apartments, as well as townhouses. Community gardens are typically lawned, adorned with palm trees and Mediterranean flora, and surround a freeform lagoon-style swimming pool.

Phase 2 of the Zeniamar residential complex, a mixed development of apartments and quad villas, soon followed in 2002. Phases 3 and 4 were completed in 2003.
