From Belgium to Benejuzar on the Costa Blanca
ISABELL AND NICO found their perfect home in the charming Spanish town of Benejuzar on the Costa Blanca.
Located in the south of the province of Alicante in the Vega Baja region, this traditional market town has a population of just 5.625 registered residents.
The pretty municipality sits at the foot of the Sierra de Benejuzar, and beside the Rio Segura river which weaves past towards the sea, some 22 km inland from Guardamar del Segura.
It's a proudly Spanish town steeped in history that dates its origins back to the thirteenth century, and it's no surprise that Isabell and Nico chose the town for the location of their new home in the sun.
With Hanna's assistance, the couple found a traditional Spanish townhouse in Las Barracas packed with charm and character features. Deceptively spacious, the property offers three bedrooms, a super-modern high gloss kitchen, and a living room with French doors to the garden.
The outside space is extremely tranquil and adorned with a summer kitchen, a sundrenched patio, private parking, and a saltwater swimming pool with Roman steps - just perfect for entertaining family and friends.
