Free furniture collection service in Orihuela Costa
Donate your unwanted furniture to Help at Home Costa Blanca
MANY OF OUR beautiful resale properties are sold furnished, and this is good news for many of our buyers as holiday homes can be enjoyed to their fullest from the moment they receive their keys.
But sometimes, our homebuyers prefer to furnish a new property in Spain themselves, replacing the furniture and decor with items that better appeal to their personal tastes.
Occasionally, homeowners will modernise or replace their furnishings with new beds, dining tables, and other large items of furniture. In both these situations, the question that arises is "What do we do with the old furniture?"
Local charity Help at Home in Playa Flamenca has the answer. They offer a free collection service for furniture, and secondhand home furnishings that might still have years of life left in them, can be donated to the charity.
Donated pre-loved furniture is upcycled and sold at a weekly furniture market in Calle Alhambra in La Zenia (adjacent to our offices), every Friday morning from 09:30. Just tap here for a Google Map showing the location.
