Our latest overseas property buyers fall in love with Los Balcones
Our latest property buyers originally got in-touch with us some months ago, following a visit to Spain to meet with friends who had previously moved here.
During their visit Amy and Wayne fell in love with this part of the Costa Blanca, and discussed the possibility of owning a home here.
They were keen to explore the local area and often spent their time walking around the neighbourhoods, assessing the benefits of living in each community.
It was during one of these occasions that they stumbled upon their perfect home in Spain. Just one tiny problem however - the property they wanted wasn´t for sale.
Amy and Wayne got in-touch with our Property Advisor Jeremy and expressed their interest in this particular home, asking that he keep them in mind should the property ever come on to the Spanish real estate market.
Some might call it fate, but the home, a very pretty villa in Los Balcones, did come up for sale recently and Jeremy promptly called the couple, who spared no time in ensuring that they made an acceptable offer to secure their dream home.
Los Balcones is fast becoming a popular area for overseas property buyers. It´s close proximity to the city of Torrevieja, an abundance of local services, and it´s location beside the southern bank of the mesmerising pink salt lake, make it a firm favourite.
Property prices remain surprisingly affordable, and Los Balcones is peppered with high quality residential communities that offer resort-style Mediterranean living, without the premium price tag usually associated with this part of the Orihuela Costa.
